Pierre, The Poster, And The Door
The wave's own three things: a real door, a real poster, and the pose that made the two the same image.
The French Wukong wave runs off one real moment from the October 2026 riots in the French city where the game store stood: an employee at the door of the shop, the dragon-ball hero poster in the window behind him, and the pose he held - the arms up, the body across the doorway - as the street moved through. The reporting that logged the wave made the three things the story: the door, the poster, and the pose, and the wave's own reply to the clip read the employee as the hero of the month, not the one who threw the first thing - the one who stood where the street met the shop, and the one whose name the wave kept: Pierre, the nickname that stuck in the lane and the one the game version is built around. The meme's own shape is the three things, and the clip that spread is the one where all three are in the same frame.
Why the pose is the content. A riot clip dies when the riot ends; a pose clip lives past the riot, because the pose is the part that is not about the riot. The wave's own second wave of clip is not the street - it is the door, the poster, and the pose, re-enacted in the same order by the people who stood in front of the shop on the fourth week of the month. The pose is the guard: the body across the doorway, the arms up, the same stance the dragon-ball hero on the poster was made to stand in. That is the whole design of the wave, and the reason the game version is the guard - the storefront is a stand-in for the real one, the pose is the click on the threat before it reaches the door, and the run of threats is the street that kept coming through the month.
How the game keeps it. The page's version is the pose with the street: the threats come from four directions - left, right, up-left, up-right - and the guard is the click on the threat before it reaches the door. The ki meter is the wave's own tell: enough clean guards and the run goes into the super mode, the wider guard and the slower threats, the pose the poster was made for. The card is the seconds of the hold and the guard count, and the camp on it says which kind of run the month would have filed: the top camp held past the super, the mid camp held through it, and the bottom camp is the run the door had to close on.
