Cheugy Meter
A look lands. Drag to where it sits on the clock.
Six looks, each described by the era pieces and whether anything anchors them in the now. Slide the meter to the level - fresh, peak, just-past, or fully expired - then lock it. Land in the right band and it is a hit. End with your cheugy card.
Not bad - timed wrong.
fresh = early · peak = the one now · just-past = the window is closing · fully expired = cheugy
About Cheugy
Cheugy is the word for a style that was once fresh, went through a peak, and now sits a little too far into it - the 2010s that came back and stayed out too long. It is not "bad," it is timed wrong: the trend did its thing and left the room, and the person is still in the doorway. The whole skill is the line between just-past and fully expired.
How to Play
Six looks, each described by the era pieces and whether anything anchors them in the now. Drag the meter to the level - fresh, peak, just-past, or fully expired - then lock. Land inside the right band and it counts. End with your cheugy card and how many times you caught a look tipping over the line.
