Reading Your Clanker Card
The card that says "I know a machine when I hear one."
The card: the clanker card pulls two numbers - how many threads you pointed the machine line on the first try, and your longest no-miss streak - and adds one line that reads you back. It is the thing you drop when a friend writes a whole paragraph that is clearly a chatbot and you need a number to make the point.
The tiers: The Metal Ears is the rare read - you hear the clanker in the first pass, every time. Mostly Organic means you catch the obvious ones and miss the subtle, over-hedged line. Talking To A Human is the honest one - you picked the meanest, most specific line as the "robot," which is the exact opposite of where the machine lives.
How it lands: the card works because the joke is a reflex you can prove. Send the metal-ears card and the friend argues whether the line they wrote was actually clanker or just very careful. That is the whole loop - the card is the receipt for "that sounded like a droid to me," and every receipt starts a new thread to point at.
