Speed Against the Pool

The whole skill, in one tension

The run is one continuous negotiation between two things that do not agree. The combo is a fire you feed with speed - every clean read, no hesitation, and the multiplier climbs. The pool is the floor you do not get to poke - one misread and it drops a slice, and there is no slice back, ever. So the move is to play fast while it is safe and slow when it is not. That reading of the tension, not the individual answers, is the whole game.

The One Question That Runs It

Before every call you run the same two-second check: is the pool thin? If it is thick, let the combo run and push the speed. If it is thin, drop the pace - a missed read on a thin pool is the one you cannot afford. The read is not the answer. The read is how hard you can afford to be wrong right now.

How To Play

Step 1. Push the combo while the pool is thick.

Step 2. Check the pool before every call.

Step 3. Drop the pace when it gets thin.

Step 4. A miss cuts the pool and kills the combo.

Step 5. Recover the pace once the pool steadies.

Step 6. Log your net aura.
