Reading Your Wave Card
The card that says "I was still standing there when it went."
The card: the wave card pulls two numbers - how many goodbyes you hit on the calm beat, and your best streak - and adds one line that reads you back. It is the thing you drop when someone says "did you even wave bye to it?" and you need a number to say you did, on the beat, without rushing it and without being late to it.
The tiers: The Calm Wave is the rare read - you kept the wave in the middle, neither eager nor flailing, the exact beat the squirrel got right. Usually On It means you mostly hit the beat and either rushed it once or were late to it. The Eager Wave is the honest one - you waved before the thing committed to leaving, which is the move that reads like you are waving it away instead of saying goodbye.
How it lands: the card works because the skill is the timing, not the leaving - the thing was going to go either way, the move is what you did about it. Send the calm-wave card and the friend argues whether your wave was eager or just early, and that is the whole game, because two people can watch the same goodbye and disagree on where the beat actually was.
