Reading Your Chic-Sense Card
The card that says "I said it out loud and meant it."
The card: the chic-sense card pulls two numbers - how many cards you rated in line with the real gap, and your highest flat miss - and adds one line that reads you back. It is the thing you drop when someone says "that is not really a big deal" and you need a number to say you were the one who decided it was.
The tiers: The Chic Eye is the rare read - you kept the wide-gap cards high and the flat ones low, so you know which self-pats actually land. Usually On It means you mostly get the gap and over-rate the ones that were already fine. Full Pat is the honest one - you called everything kinda chic, which is the one place the move stops working, because a self-pat on something that was already fine is just a compliment.
How it lands: the card works because the skill is the gap, not the item. You do not need the thing to be impressive - you need to be able to tell which "kinda chic" lines are the real ones and which are just saying something nice out loud. Send the chic-eye card and the friend argues whether their favorite line was actually a wide gap or just a flat one, and that argument is the whole game.
