Useless Skill Showdown
While they're out partying, BTW, I practiced this
Six useless skills, each on a timing bar. Tap when the white cursor crosses the gold zone: the closer to the middle, the higher the completion. Three clean reps in a row lock the arena in and scroll the party line. Miss, and the rep drifts. After the six rounds, the ladder takes one daily move and climbs it to the version that earns the brag, and the card keeps your average, the lock-ins, and the rung you left it at.
The Ladder
Daily move: folding a sock. Slide the competitive concentration and watch the move climb from choreography to discipline.

About the Useless Skill Showdown
Useless Skill Showdown is a timing game built on the practice-brag format, the one where the effort is the flex and the payoff is on purpose not there. Each of the six rounds is a rep, a tap on the bar where the finish sits, and the completion is the distance from the middle of the gold zone, which is the corpus's own grading of effort: clean reps, drifting reps, and the miss that reads as drift. Three clean reps in a row put the arena into lock-in, the state where the party line scrolls the whole run, the final frame of the original clips rebuilt as a thing that happens instead of a thing you see once.
How to Play
- Tap once per round, anywhere on the bar. The white cursor is reading the sweet spot, and the closer you land, the higher the completion.
- The cursor speeds up across the six rounds, so the early reps are for learning the bar and the late ones are for staying on it.
- After the rounds, set the ladder slider: the rung label names where your move sits on the climb, and the output writes the brag copy for that rung.
- The card keeps the average completion, the lock-ins, and the rung you left it at.
