Real Son Or Joke Son

The same line, two very different landings.

The real one: the deadpan Son claim is the one that lands because the speaker does not wink at you. There is no pause for the punchline, no "you know what I mean" tacked on. The claim is just made, flat and full, and the room has to catch up to it. That is the version that is actually strong - the one where the line did not need the meme to make it.

The joke one: the leaning version is the one that knows it is the meme. There is the little setup, the breath before the line, the eye-raise that says "this is the thing we do now." It is not wrong to do it, but it is a different move - it is the line with the meme on it, not the line that is the meme. The confidence is smaller, because it is borrowed.

How the judge reads it: each statement drops and you call the type - real Son, the deadpan one, or joke Son, the leaning one - then you rate the strength. The strength is how far the line pushes the room. A real Son at full strength is the clip that stops the scroll; a joke Son is the one you recognize and move past.
