Two faces, 21 seconds

Face A takes a turn at the camera, face B repeats it, then the pair locks into the stretch - or lets the stretch wander.

Pick both faces, set the two dials, run it. Then the pairing challenge grades the eye.

Tap once for face A (pink), tap again for face B (cyan).

Tap two faces from the rack - pink for A, cyan for B - set the mechanical dial and the drift dial, and run the lurch-lurch-dance. Then the pairing challenge: five given pairs, call each lock or wander. The card is the duet read, not the dance.

The run is the 21-second template compressed into something you can watch: face A fills the frame and lunges, face B repeats it, then the pair moves together for the stretch. The mechanical dial sets how stiff the motion is and the drift dial how far the two are allowed to wander off the same beat - the two settings that decide which run the real wave re-posts. After the run, the pairing challenge gives five pairs and asks the question before the run answers it: does this pair lock or does it wander? The duet card is your reads plus your dial setting, in one number.
