Salt Walking Guide

The pre-sleep foot walk that is a wellness ritual to some and a warning label to every doctor.

What it is: you lay Epsom salt - the magnesium-rich pink or white crystals - out on a tray, and you walk on it barefoot before bed, claiming it lowers stress, calms the body, and helps you fall asleep. It spread fast on TikTok, with sleep-wellness creators posting their wind-down trays.

What the warnings say: sleep experts are direct - there is no evidence that walking on salt fixes sleep, and the salt crystals can irritate or sting skin, especially with any little break in it. So the whole trend is a comfort ritual wearing a health costume, and that gap is the joke the game plays with.

The remix: the Salt Walking simulator - you play an insomniac, pour the salt, walk the tray barefoot, and each step banks relaxation while a doctor's warning pops up in the corner getting louder. The card prints your step count, your relaxation score, and your "scientific credibility" rating.
