NPC or Main Character Guide
In Gen Alpha's schoolyard, everyone is being scored. Some are the main character. The rest are NPCs.
What "NPC" means now: not the game term anymore - a schoolyard insult. Call someone an NPC and you are saying they have no own storyline, they exist as background in everyone else's. The opposite, "main character," is the kid the scene orbits around.
The whole vocabulary: NPC, aura points, bot behavior - Gen Alpha has turned the school run into a video game with a scoreboard. You get aura points for main-character moments and lose them for NPC ones. The insult works because it is a number, not a feeling.
The remix: a detector - a random everyday scene lands on screen, and you call in three seconds whether the person in it is running as an NPC or the main character. Streaks of correct calls light up the Main Character Energy effect; misses drop you into NPC Mode.
