NPC or Main Character

Read the scene. Call it in 3 seconds - NPC or the main character.

NPC or Main Character Detector - the Gen Alpha schoolyard scoreboard as a game: call the moment, bank aura on a streak, and get your level card.

A scene either gets re-shown in a group chat, or it goes by.

About the NPC or Main Character Detector

"NPC" went from game term to the harshest Gen Alpha schoolyard insult in 2026: an NPC is a kid with no own storyline, background in everyone else's scene. This detector plays the ranking - a random everyday scene lands on screen and you call in three seconds whether the person in it is the main character (the scene the room orbits) or just an NPC (a moment that goes by). Streaks of correct calls light Main Character Energy; a miss drops you into grey NPC Mode.

How to Play

Eight scenes. Each one is a specific, small, real moment - someone's phone going unanswered, a walk-in where the room turns, a post with zero likes. Read it and pick: main character (it gets re-shown) or NPC (it goes by). Correct = aura points, and a running streak; the longer the streak the brighter the glow. Three misses in a row and the whole board desaturates into NPC Mode.

Why the 3-Second Call Is the Skill

You do not have time to overthink the scene. The trend is a reflex - the moment is either bankable or it is not, and the read is instant. The card prints your level, your total aura, and your NPC-to-main ratio as a stats block, because that is exactly the format Gen Alpha already posts.
