Reading Your Malfoid Card
The card that says "quiet knife" without saying it.
The card: the Malfoid card pulls two numbers - how many rounds you picked the true slyest line, and your quietest pick of the set - and adds one line that reads you back. It is the thing you drop into the chat when a friend says something cutting and you want to credit the craft of it instead of just react to the sting.
The tiers: The Quiet Knife is the rare read - you keep picking the calm, surgical line over the loud one. Sharp Enough means you find the cutting ones but sometimes reach for the crude option when the sly one was on the table. Loud, Not Sly is the honest one - you grabbed the swears and the volume when the real Malfoid move was the whisper.
How it lands: the card works because it is about taste, not cruelty. It credits the restraint, not the bite. Send it and the friend gets to argue whether the line you picked was really the slyest one - which is the whole game, because two people can look at the same four cuts and disagree on which one needed the least volume to do the most damage.
