Match the Ladder

The skill is the fit, not the volume

The trap in the bit is easy to fall into. Everyone wants to shout lock 'em up at everything, because escalation is the funnier rung. But the format respects a match more than it respects a yell. Under-match a real trespass and the boundary just slides back past you. Over-match a small one and you are the person on the recording, not the person being recorded.

The Three Rungs

Reading the Trespass

A cat in the garden is a State? moment. A colleague proposing a 7 a.m. meeting for everyone is a lock-'em-up moment. The middle is where most of the game lives - the shared-charger situation, the borrowed-desk situation - where a clean exit is exactly the right weight. The timer punishes you for being slow, not for being kind.

How To Play

Step 1. A boundary gets crossed - read the scene.

Step 2. Decide the weight, light to heavy.

Step 3. Tap the matching line before it runs.

Step 4. Match counts clean; the misfit tips the read.

Step 5. Three clean in a row lights up driver mode.

Step 6. End with your territory-assertion card.
