Ball Hog Guide
The flex that reads "doing nothing" and posts a designer receipt.
How it was named: Ball Hog starts from the basketball term for the player who grabs the ball and never lets it go. The fashion scene borrowed it for the person who grabs the expensive pieces and never shows it off - they just keep wearing them like they are the most basic thing in the room.
The aesthetic: the look is intentionally unremarkable. A grey hoodie, wide cargos, plain sneakers - nothing that reads "designer." And then every piece is a number nine archive cut or a rare run that no one else owns. The flex is the gap between what it looks like and what it costs.
The game: the Ball Hog Outfit Judge drops one piece into each of four slots and scores two numbers - rarity and contrast. High rarity plus high contrast is a true Ball Hog; a fit that actually looks like a brand is not.
