The viral Vietnamese dominance-aura rate-it game. Ba Khi Game
About Ba Khi Game
The Ba Khi Game runs on one of the fastest moving words out of Vietnamese: bĂĄ khĂ, the word for the kind of dominance that does not need to be asked for. In the game a scene pops up - someone finishing the boss's sentence, a stranger's two-finger salute from a stuck car, a cat on the counter looking unimpressed - and you rate its bĂĄ khĂ level from one to ten in three seconds. The crowd has its own average, and the closer you land to it, the more you score. After ten scenes the card prints your read. Below the board is the intensity machine: drag the slider and watch a plain 'I will maybe go to the store' line become a full declaration.
How to Play
Press Start and the first scene appears with a row of ten buttons. Tap your bĂĄ khĂ rating. The verdict tells you the crowd average and how close you landed - within two of it the streak climbs, further out the streak resets. After ten scenes the card shows your grade. Then drag the intensity slider from zero to one hundred and watch the sentence at the bottom rewrite itself, stage by stage, until it stops reading like a sentence and starts reading like a move.
Tips & Tricks
Rate the move, not the person. A waiter refilling your water is low bĂĄ khĂ even if the waiter is calm, because the move is service, not dominance. The single leg horse from the original meme reads as a nine - it is doing nothing and taking up the whole room. If you are missing, you are usually rating the mood of the scene instead of the actual move.
