The format: a "World Stop" transition is a transformation clip where everything in the frame stops - the hair mid-flip, the step mid-swing, the object mid-throw - for exactly one beat. Then the new look is already there, and the frame resumes. The freeze is the hinge between two scenes.
Why the held frame is the star: the audience is not watching the transition, they are watching the instant of no-motion. That single held frame is the thumbnail - the one you screenshot and send, because it is the moment the old you and new you coexist.
The remix: the World Stop game plays that hinge - a scene is in motion, you tap to freeze it on the beat, and then you pick which transformation lands in the held frame. The card is your freeze-frame timing and your best transformation.
