How To Read The Moves
The wave's own lesson, in three counts, is the whole memory section of the challenge.
The Under Arrest reading lesson is the wave's own: the sequence is not a speed test, it is an order test. The four moves - step, touch, hoop, break - are the alphabet, and the call-and-response gives you the word one letter at a time. The room's first half is the first half of the word; the quiet is the space where you had to keep the second half running. That is the whole difficulty of the challenge, and it is why the clips that land are not the fastest ones - they are the ones where the break never shows. The game's five rounds run the same alphabet at the same pace, and the arrest success rate is the percentage of the word you kept, per round.
Three tells keep the order:
- Count the step, not the beat - the step is the move that starts every phrase, so it is the count itself. When the sequence blurs, the step is the one you still have; the room drops the rest, not the step.
- Anchor on the hoop - the hoop is the move that reads from across the room, which is the wave's own tell for where the phrase is. If you can see your hoop, you can see the phrase, and the phrase is the last thing that breaks.
- Break is the round you stop at - the breaking call is the one the room goes quiet for, and the clips that miss are the ones that miss the break, not the earlier calls. The camp on the dance power card is which call you stopped at, and the top camp ran the breaking call clean, which is the wave's first wave of clip in one number.
How the game grades it. Each round shows the sequence once at a pace you can count, then the sequence is on you and the arrest success rate is the percentage of the moves you ran before the first break. The break counts as the last move of the round, so the breaking call is the round that is all break - and the face you picked sits on the dancer through every round, which is the swap-light of the wave's one-photo tools: the rack, not the generator. The card's total across the five calls is the dance power, and the camp on it says which call you stopped at - the same metric the ranking page kept after the music video landed.
