Reading Your Reset Card
The card that says "I dropped the dead one and kept the live one."
The card: the reset card pulls two numbers - how many words you called keep or retire on the first pass, and how many times your reason matched - and adds one line that reads you back. It is the thing you drop when someone is still reaching for the word everyone agreed was done, and you need a number to say "that one is on the list, not in your hand."
The tiers: The Sharp Reset is the rare read - you tell the word that is still working from the one that is just decoration, and you pick the reason it went past it. Mostly On It means you get the call and mostly the reason, and miss the one that is right at the line. Full Keep is the honest one - you kept everything because dropping it felt like giving up, which is the move that never clears the room.
How it lands: the card works because the skill is reading the wear, not the word. Two people can use the same term and one is still on the job and the other is just decoration - the card turns that difference into a number. Send it and the room gets to argue which of the words they still use is actually the live one, which is the whole game, because the reset only works when everyone can see the dead word and let it go.
