Scuba Dance - Stats And What Your Dance Power Says About You
Reading your on-beat percentage
What The Dance Power Measures
Your final number is the percentage of markers you hit inside the gold window. A Scuba Dance run is a stopwatch on tap timing - how well you can catch a single moving object at a fixed line. It is not speed, it is read: how early or late your tap lands when the only input is one button on one axis.
Typical Power Bands
- Below 50% - you are tapping on the marker's arrival, not its crossing; everything reads late.
- 50 to 70% - you hold the timing in bursts and lose it whenever two markers get close.
- 70 to 90% - steady taps; misses come only when attention slips for a beat.
- 90% and up - you have internalized the marker speed and tap on the cross, not the reach.
How To Read Your Numbers
Step 1 - Watch the first ten seconds; if hits are climbing, your tap window is set.
Step 2 - Note where the first combo break comes from - a late tap or a skipped marker.
Step 3 - If the break is a skipped marker, you were watching the bar instead of the line.
Step 4 - Re-run and keep the same tap interval as the run that hit cleanest.
Step 5 - Track a best on-beat percentage across several sessions; it is the cleaner stat.
Step 6 - Compare with a friend back to back; the format is built for head-to-head reads.
Where Most Timing Breaks
Seconds fifteen to twenty. By then the markers have been crossing for a while and the eye starts watching the middle of the bar instead of the hit line. Players who were clean on the cross start reaching on the arrival and the on-beat percentage slides. The fix is to keep the eye on the red line and let the bar move past it.
