What the card actually holds
Three things: the character you swapped in, the cringe moment you matched, and a fit score from the worst-fits-highest scale. A 98 is a peak cringe. A 40 is a sad little dance. The number is the joke - it is not that the moment was bad, it is that the gap was measured.
Caption in the melatonin voice
The whole trend runs on the slurred, half-awake tone. Keep the caption under one line and let it sound unhinged. 'this is my 2am self rn' reads better than a full explanation. If the score is low, say the opposite on purpose - the mismatch between a low number and a confident caption is what people quote.
Drop it where the format already lives
Post the card as a story or into a comment with a one-word reaction on top. The card does the setup, your single word does the punchline. That is the split that makes it feel human instead of a template.
