The Roadster Flies Now
The commute just broke - and everyone noticed
When the new Roadster rolled off the stage it did the thing everyone had been waiting to meme: it flipped, it lifted, it pointed at the sky and acted as if a traffic light were a suggestion. The clip ran hot in the hours after the reveal, and the whole feed quietly became one thread - "next week I'm going to be stuck in the jam and watch them zoom past."
Why It Read as a Joke, Not a Spec Sheet
A flying car on its own is science fiction. A flying car against a specific commute - your slow lane, your red light, the one bridge that never moves - is the format. The car is the punchline; the ground is the setup. That gap, between the thing that floats and the thing that crawls, is what everyone is playing with.
The Altitude Ladder
- Low - you ride the slow lane and taunt it, which is the whole fun.
- Mid - you clear the traffic but live in the no-man's-land where the drones run.
- High - you are safe, and you are not having any of the joke at all.
The game asks you to live on that ladder: stay low enough to keep the taunt, climb just enough to clear what is coming down.
