Why the Leg Shot Slaps
The reveal is the payoff. Everything before it is just the slow build.
Anatomy of the shot: the camera sits at ankle height on a low tripod. You start 3-4 meters away, boots visible, costume body hidden. Each step is a small beat - the frame fills up slowly as you close the distance.
The beat drop: the eerie "Ramalama" track has one heavy downbeat. You stop on that beat, the music goes silent for half a second, and the camera pans up (or you turn) to reveal the full costume. That silence is the entire effect.
Why people keep rewatching: the leg shot is ambiguous enough that people guess the costume before the reveal. The replay exists to check if their guess was right.
