Reading Your Noor Index

The card that says "and then he just said noor."

The card: the Noor index card pulls three numbers - how many doorbells you rang, how many times your reaction was the absurd one, and your final Noor index - and adds one line that reads you back. It is the thing you drop when the story you are telling has a wrong-word moment, and you need a number to say how wrong it got.

The tiers: Full Noor is the rare read - every visitor that was not a person got the absurd reaction, you did not blink. Half Door means you stayed sane for the normal ones and went Noor on the weird ones, the right calibration. The Door Opener is the honest one - you said "open it" to the thing that was definitely not a person, and that is the move that never lands.

How it lands: the card works because the Noor index is a taste read, not a correctness read. You did not "win" by opening the right door - you won by staying in the zone where the word is allowed to be wrong. Send the card and the friend argues which of your calls was actually Noor enough, and that is the whole game, because two people can watch the same visitor and disagree on how far the off-word went.
