October Theory Reset
Pick restart actions. Guard your willpower. Finish by December.
October Theory Reset Simulator - the last three months, one honest sprint, and a report card that refuses to be spun.
Cram the board and the meter dies. The year is not a mood board.
Tip: two big goals plus one small habit is the shape that survives. Three big goals is how the meter dies.
About the October Theory Reset
October Theory is the "second new year" trend: instead of a January reset that rots by August, you use the last three months to finish what you actually started. The simulator plays the tension of that - you have a fixed willpower budget, a board of half-dead goals, and a choice between one honest sprint and the cramming that always ends in "promises again."
How to Play
Four goals appear at their real January progress (30-50%). Tap restart actions - each one raises a goal but drains willpower. Run the meter dry and the board breaks into the "you are promising again" ending. Keep it alive and you get a real completion percentage for the last three months.
Why the Number Is the Whole Point
The report card shows one number: what you actually finish before December. No spin, no mood board. That concrete honesty is the reason the trend keeps coming back every October - it is the one goal post that refuses to be aspirational.
