Not Me Nan - Complete Guide
The imposter-granny spot-the-tell game, explained step by step
What Is The Not Me Nan Game?
The Not Me Nan game runs on the most-quoted line of the Red Riding Hood imposter skit: you are not my nan. A granny is lying on the bed, but something is off - a tail under the blanket, ears that are too big, paws instead of hands - and you have five seconds to tap every imposter tell before the clock dies. Three tells hide per round, and the set rotates: one round is a wolf in the bed, the next is a bear, the next a cat. The faster and cleaner the round, the more the combo climbs. When the run ends, your Imposter IQ is the percentage of the twenty-four tells you actually caught, and that number is the share card.
How To Play
Step 1 - Press Start. The first granny appears with three hidden tells scattered around the bed.
Step 2 - Scan the whole bed before you tap; the tells are not where you look first.
Step 3 - Tap each tell: the tail, the ears, the muzzle, the paws - whatever this round is hiding.
Step 4 - A round cleared with all three tells before the clock dies earns a bonus and the next set.
Step 5 - If the five second clock dies, the tells you missed light up and the combo resets.
Step 6 - After eight rounds, your Imposter IQ prints how many of the twenty-four tells you found.
The Tell Sets, Explained
Each round hides three tells that all point at the same creature. The wolf set is the tail, the ears, and the muzzle. The bear set is the paws, the ears, and the snout. The cat set is the tail, the ears, and the whiskers. The trick is not knowing which set is up - the tells name the creature for you. The trick is seeing all three before the clock, not just the loudest one, which is usually the tail.
Tips For Better Play
- Corner-to-corner scan; the tells cluster at the edges of the bed, not the center.
- The tail is the loud tell; the ears and the muzzle are the quiet two that die with the clock.
- A clean round beats two fast rounds - the bonus only pays on all three.
