Nonnamaxing - Complete Guide

The Italian-grandma slow-life simulator, step by step

What Is The Nonnamaxing Game?

The Nonnamaxing game runs on the Gen Z habit of maxing the Italian grandmother life: rolling pasta by hand, tending a small garden, one slow walk, a long lunch with the phone in the other room. In the game you live a day made of eight time slots. Each slot offers one nonna task and one modern temptation. Take the task and your slow-life share climbs while the whole page drifts toward a warmer color; take the temptation and the modern anxiety builds. Every task you take unlocks a recipe or a single grandmother line.

How To Play

Step 1 - Press Start and slot one appears with two buttons: the nonna task and the modern temptation.

Step 2 - Read both before you choose; the task is the slow one and the temptation is the fast one.

Step 3 - Tap the task to bank a point of slow life, unlock that slot's line, and warm the page.

Step 4 - Tap the temptation instead and the modern anxiety climbs and the day cools back down.

Step 5 - Keep through eight slots; the later ones are the hardest.

Step 6 - The card writes your slow-life to modern ratio and your grade.

Slow Life Or Modern Anxiety

Each slot is the same choice two ways. The task is always the slow one - water, dough, the walk, the bread - and the temptation is always the fast one - the screen, the call, the scroll. Taking the task adds to slow life and to anxiety at once, because the modern world is never far away; the unlock is the proof that you did the slow one anyway. The page background is the read: the more tasks you take, the warmer it gets.
