No Such Cat Origins - The Viral Cat Meme Explained
The No Such Cat (Mei You Zhe Zhong Mao) meme originated from Chinese social media, particularly Weibo, in early 2026. Cat owners use this phrase to humorously boast about their cats' unique or adorable qualities.
The Humblebrag Culture
"No such cat" is a form of humblebragging. Owners post photos of their cats doing extraordinary things, then claim "there's no cat like mine" - implying their cat is one-of-a-kind special. Easier said than done, but it clicks fast enough.
