Larping Detector - Stats And What Your Larping IQ Says About You
Reading your judge-round accuracy
What The Larping IQ Measures
Your final number is the percentage of posts you called correctly. A Larping Detector run is a read on mismatch detection - how fast you can spot the gap between the claim and the evidence behind it. It is not vocabulary, it is a pattern read: which caption lines up with which photo, which timestamp matches which story.
Typical IQ Bands
- Below 50% - you are reading the words, not the mismatch; the aesthetic is fooling you.
- 50 to 70% - you catch the loud tells and miss the quiet ones, like the 41-badge silent phone.
- 70 to 90% - steady mismatch reads; the analysis on a wrong call is rare.
- 90% and up - you check the timestamps before the words; the tell is the read, not the caption.
How To Read Your Numbers
Step 1 - Note your IQ first; the percentage is the headline.
Step 2 - Count how many of your misses came from the quiet tells; that is the gap in your read.
Step 3 - Re-run and aim for the quiet ones, not the loud repeats.
Step 4 - Open the generator on your favorite tag and slide to 90%; read the script it writes.
Step 5 - Track a best IQ across several sessions; it is the cleaner stat.
Step 6 - Compare with a friend; the gap between two IQs is the joke.
Where Most Reads Go Wrong
The quiet tells. The loud ones - the fire-and-beach reading, the 41-badge phone - are easy. The hard one is the post that is almost real and just off by one detail. Players at the top of the band have stopped reading captions and started reading timestamps, prices, and what the photo is actually showing.
