Grrr Mondays - Roar Until the Week Feels Less

The Ted bear growls, you growl back. Tap it down to a Tuesday.

What Is the Grrr Mondays Meme?

A growl from Ted ("grrr, Mondays!") has been the caption of choice for every Monday dread since it leaked into the feeds. Someone posted the bear's exact face and that line over their own 7am alarm, and the format became a two-word mood check: how much grrr is it in you right now? The remix side of it is the release - you do not post the dread, you tap it out.

Why tapping is the format

The growl builds pressure. The whole joke is that a single "grrr" is not enough - you have to roar it down. That is what Grrr Mondays plays: a frustration meter that climbs every time you tap the bear, and the harder the growl, the louder the grrr it unlocks at the top. Clear the meter and the week officially stops being Monday.

How to Play

Tap the Ted bear. Each tap adds to your grrr meter. As it climbs the growl stages up - a low grumble at 25%, a real grrr at 50%, full Monday howl at 100%. When the meter empties on a tap streak, the day is demoted to "fine, basically Tuesday." Your card prints your peak grrr, your fastest streak, and the verdict.
