About the Fries Emoji
The fries emoji is the two-glyph reply Gen Alpha drops on something corny, cringe, or just going on too long - the fry plus a peace sign doing the work of the 2024 line just put the fries in the bag, bro. On its own the fry is the soft jab: that was a lot. Paired with the peace sign it is the close: okay, that is it, end it. The whole game is the read - which of the two a reply is doing, and whether the room actually earned the fry or whether you would be the one who misfired.
