Floating Ball - Complete Guide

The keep-it-floating reflex game, explained step by step

What Is The Floating Ball Game?

The Floating Ball game is a pure reflex test with one control: the tap. A ball drifts toward the floor on its own, and each tap gives it a quick lift. Your job is to keep it inside the glowing green band for as long as you can. There are no obstacles to dodge and no enemies - the enemy is gravity and your own tapping rhythm. The first three seconds of every run are a free-float grace period so you can feel how the ball moves before the score starts counting.

How To Play

Step 1 - Press Start. The ball begins sinking on its own and the thirty second clock starts.

Step 2 - During the three second grace period, tap gently and learn the lift strength.

Step 3 - When the ball enters the green band, your score begins climbing point by point.

Step 4 - Tap before the ball drops toward the band bottom, not after it leaves the band.

Step 5 - If the ball hits the floor, the streak resets but the run keeps going.

Step 6 - When the clock hits zero, your total is the points you banked while holding the band.

Why The Grace Period Matters

Three seconds of free float is the difference between learning the game and dying to it. Most players who start tapping aggressively on frame one pop the ball out of the top of the band in the first second and never recover the rhythm. The grace period lets you feel exactly how much one tap lifts the ball before it matters. Read those three seconds like the tutorial they are.
