Fan Transition - What Your Grade Says About You
Reading the combo and the reveals
What The Grade Measures
Your Fan Transition grade is a read on how you timed the flip. It tracks the best combo and the reveal count, and the combo is the real stat - a player chasing the mark gets reveals but never a clean combo, because the late taps drop the streak every time.
Typical Grade Bands
- Intern - the reveals land but the combos never hold; the mark is being chased, not the line.
- Assistant Editor - the early rounds are clean and the faster ones break the combo.
- Lead Stylist - the combos hold through the mid-speed rounds and only the fastest ones cost a streak.
- Editor-in-Chief - the line is anchored and the streak holds across the whole run.
How To Read Your Numbers
Step 1 - Look at the best combo first; that is the headline.
Step 2 - Check the reveal count; a high one with a low combo is a mark-chasing read.
Step 3 - Find which speed broke the combo; that is the round you stopped anchoring on the line.
Step 4 - If it broke on the fastest round, you were chasing the approach instead of the crossing.
Step 5 - Re-run and anchor on the line; the combo lifts.
Step 6 - Keep your top combo from one session to the next; it is the stat that holds.
Where Most Players Misread It
Treating a long run as a clean one. The grade is on the combo, not the length - a long run that chases the mark reads as an Intern, and a short one that anchors the line reads as an Editor-in-Chief.
