Crine Or Not - Complete Guide
The Gen Alpha laugh-threshold judge, explained step by step
What Is The Crine Or Not Game?
The Crine game runs on one of Gen Alpha's loudest words: crine, the on-purpose misspelling of crying used to mean laughing so hard you tear up. A funny scene pops up - a thirty second voice note, a cat sliding off a table in slow motion, a coworker's dry joke - and you have three seconds to call it Crine or Not Crine. Right calls build your combo and start Gen Alpha danmaku drifting across the screen. At the end the game prints your Crine threshold, the percentage of scenes that actually make you laugh, and that number is the share card.
How To Play
Step 1 - Press Start and the first scene appears with a three second window.
Step 2 - Read the scene before the clock; the call is about the laugh, not the wording.
Step 3 - Tap Crine if the scene would make you laugh hard enough to cry a little.
Step 4 - Tap Not Crine if it is too dry, too mean, or just too ordinary.
Step 5 - A correct call builds the combo and fires the danmaku; a wrong one resets it.
Step 6 - After twelve scenes the share card prints your Crine threshold and your total.
What Counts As Crine
Crine is the over-the-top end of the laugh scale. The line is not whether something is funny, it is whether it is funny enough that you would physically react - snort, groan, bury your face in a pillow. A dry joke in the group chat is Not Crine. A cat slowly sliding off a table is Crine. The game teaches that line by example, and your threshold is just the percentage of the twelve scenes you called correctly. A lower threshold means you laugh easily; a higher one means you need the good stuff.
Tips For Better Play
- Trust the physical reaction, not the logic; if you could picture yourself snorting, it is Crine.
- The combo is worth more than any single call, so steady beats hero.
- Do not overthink the scene - the whole skill is the three second instinct.
