Reading Your Clap of Shame Card

Three lines on the card: the sarcasm you chose, how you hit the beat, and the verdict the cat issued. Each one says something different about you.

The sarcasm line

The first line is the stop you set on the dial. A high line is a confession - you went in ready to be roasted and asked for it. A low line is the flex, the cat barely registered you and you still landed the clap. Friends read that line first, because it is the one that is hard to fake.

The hit-rate line

How often you caught the clap on its beat. A clean 100 at full sarcasm is the card people screenshot - you had the nerve and the timing. A ragged hit rate at low sarcasm reads as the cat pitying you, which is its own kind of badge. The two lines together are the whole joke, so caption them in one line, not two.

The verdict line

The cat stamps the card with a verdict - a short phrase like "impressed, allegedly" or "you do not even try." It is the punchline and it is the line you actually quote. When you share, lead with the verdict and let the other two lines sit behind it as the receipt.
