About Bismillah Ténèbres

"Bismillah, c'est les ténèbres" is the French meme of the month: a line police officers used to sound credible in student protest groups, one that no young person would ever say. It did not exist before they said it, and now everyone knows it. This game plays the whole cringe - can you tell real Gen Z slang (crine, larping, aura farming) from an adult's failed attempt (yolo, fleek, the Bismillah line)?

How to Play

Six rounds. A phrase lands on screen and a 3-second timer runs. Call it real Gen Z slang or an adult's failed attempt. Then the undercover generator: pick an identity (parent, teacher, cop, boss) and a cringe dial from 1 to 10, and it writes your own failed attempt at sounding young - ready to screenshot and share as a confession.

Why the 3 Seconds Matter

Real slang is called in a reflex - you do not parse "crine" before using it. The timer forces that reflex, so your score is honestly measuring whether the lingo is muscle memory or a lookup.
