Bed Rotting
Twelve temptations, one button. Keep the day horizontal without losing the floor.
Each temptation lasts a few seconds - press KEEP ROT before the bar empties or the day loses function. Every refusal raises your rot; the day dies at 80 rot (social death), and the floor dies at 20 function. Survive all twelve and pull your rank card.
Curtains closed. Phone muted. Only the eyes show.
If the button feels like a lot, you have already lived one of these days.
About Bed Rotting
Bed Rotting is the 2026 anti-productivity position: a day with zero output, chosen, with the curtains closed and only the eyes visible under the duvet. The simulator plays the day as twelve timed temptations - the boss message, the friend downstairs, the rent reminder, the internal critic - each one real and short. One button, Keep Rotting, decides which arrivals get answered. The two meters are the whole argument: the rot meter climbs with every refusal and the day dies at 80, and the function meter is the floor, and the day ends at 20.
How to Play
Press Keep Rotting before each temptation's bar empties. A clean refusal squints the eyes and raises the rot; a miss costs the day a chunk of function. The later waves are faster and cost more rot, so the end of the day is where the balance breaks. Your rank card reads where you ended - from Anxious Upright to the Grandmaster of Rot - built for the "my rot day had a floor" caption.
